SSC conducts recruitment and selection process for the post of SSC JE (Junior Engineer) in the departments Central Water Commission, CPWD, MES, Department of Post, Farrakka Barrage (Project), Director General Border Roads Organization, Central Water Power Research Station, Dept. Of Quality Assurance (Naval) and National Technical Research Organization.

What is SSC JE Selection Process?

The recruitment and selection process of SSC JE consist of the following stages:

  • Online Application Submission
  • SSC JE Online Paper 1 or Preliminary Examination
  • SSC JE Written Examination, Paper-2 or Mains
  • Document Verification
  • Post Allotment

Candidates will be shortlisted and recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their total marks in the Paper – I & II and preference for the posts.

How to Apply Online for SSC JE Exam?

  • The online application filling process is consisting of two parts:
  1. Part 1 Registration
  2. Part 2 Application
  • The online submission of application may be made on website http://ssconline.nic.in
  • After successful registration, a page with Registration Number will appear on the screen
  • Note down the registration number or take a print out of the page. This number will be required in the part 2 application process

Application Fees of SSC JE

The Application Fee is Rupees One Hundred Only i.e. Rs.100 for all the candidates.

The candidates exempted from the payment of fees are as follows:

  • Women candidates
  • Candidates belonging to:
  • Scheduled Caste
  • Scheduled Tribe
  • Physically Handicapped
  • Ex-Servicemen (eligible for reservation)

How to Download SSC JE Admit Card?

  • Go to the official website of SSC nic.in
  • Click on the tab indicating Download Admit Card
  • Select SSC JE
  • After that a dialogue box will open which will ask you to fill your registration id and password which was provided to the candidates at the time of registration process online
  • After successfully logging in, you will be asked to fill in your Name and DOB as per the information provided by you while filling the online application form
  • After filling and submitting the information, your admit card will be displayed in pdf format
  • You can download the admit card and get it printed so as to carry it with you while coming for the examination
