NABARD has released the notification for recruitment 2018 of Assistant managers (Grade A). National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has released 92 vacancies this year. NABARD Exam pattern for Grade A comprises of a prelims exam, Mains exam and an interview. NABARD is a reputed Bank and you need to prepare well to get through this examination. What is NABARD Grade A Selection Process?

The NABARD Grade A exam consists of three phases:

  1. Prelims exam (MCQ objective)
  2. Mains exam (MCQ objective + descriptive)
  3. Interview

What is NABARD Exam pattern – Prelims for Grade A?

The NABARD prelims exam pattern is same for all the posts of Grade A. This year there is a change in the prelims exam pattern. There is introduction of Economic & Social issues and Agriculture and Rural Development. The weightages of Quant and Reasoning sections have been reduced. Lets see the new exam pattern for NABARD Assistant Manager Prelims exam:

  • The exam is an online test with objective type multiple choice questions.
  • Prelims is only qualifying in nature. The marks obtained are not used for final merit.
  • Those who clear the prelims cut off are eligible to sit for Mains exam.
  • There is negative marking of ¼ or 0.25 for every wrong answer.

What is NABARD Exam pattern – Mains for Grade A?

NABARD Grade A Mains exam will be held on 6th June 2018. This exam will be an objective + descriptive paper. The exam is held online for both descriptive (paper I) and objective part (paper II). Paper 1 is common for all the posts whereas paper 2 is different for various posts.

  • Both sectional as well as overall cut offs apply.
  • If you clear the phase 2, you will called for an interview.
  • The final merit list is prepared taking the marks of Mains exam and interview.

NABARD Exam Pattern – Interview

  • The interview is held for those candidates who score sufficiently high in the Mains exam.
  • The maximum marks for the interview are 25.
  • The final merit is based on the combined performance in Mains exam and the interview.
