  1. ISRO exam eligibility criteria

  • Educational Qualification

BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification with an aggregate of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84/10

  • Age Limit (As on 5th October 2017)

Maximum age of 35 years

*Central Govt Servants, Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India order

The written exam will be conducted at twelve venues:

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram

  1. ISRO Online Application – How to apply

You can click on the direct link below to apply for the ISRO exam.

  • Click on the direct link above and then choose the post you want to apply for – Electronics, Mechanical or Computers
  • Fill your Name, Gender, Email and all other necessary details
  • Submit the application
  • Take a printout of the application for your reference
  • You can pay fee either online or offline
  • To pay the fee online, click on ‘Make Payment’ button on the screen showing your registration number
  • To pay the fee offline, generate a SBI challan and submit it with Rs 100 cash in the nearest SBI branch

The on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a `No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, by those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, duly indicating the name and Reg. No. on the reverse. This has to be done within 7 days of the date of registration for the exam.

  1. Application fee

The application fee for ISRO exam 2017 is only Rs 100

  1. Exam Pattern

The selection procedure is in three stages out of which first stage in initial screening and then there is two stage exam – Written test and interview.

  • Initial Screening

Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test.

  • Written Exam

Candidates who clear the initial screening will be eligible to sit for the written test. The written test will have following pattern:

  • Interview

  • The candidate need to secure atleast 60% marks in the interview
  • Final selection is based on the interview only

 

  1. Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of Rs. 56100/- p.m.
