If you are an aspirant of UGC NET exam, this is the place for you. We present here all the necessary details and updates of the exam. CBSE holds National Eligibility Test abbreviated as NET, twice every year on behalf of University Grant Commission. The exam is conducted to examine the eligibility of competitors for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges. CBSE conducts NET in more than 80 subjects across the country. NET is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Forensic Science, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science.

UGC NET Notification is released 3-4 months before the commencement of exam. Maximum age limit for the exam is 28 years. Till 2017, CBSE UGC NET was conducted twice a year. But from 2018 onwards, this exam will be conducted only once a year.

UGC NET Result: Top 6% students are selected. Out of this, a separate list is prepared for JRF candidates.
